Peter Cioni has spent his entire professional career in the financial services sector, and for the past year he has applied his skill set and expertise specifically towards the

Hollywood-based entertainment industry. Most recently, Peter represented and advised the management team on a buyout of a privately-held company in the movie industry.  Cioni’s close collaboration with management enabled him to build a fundamental comprehension of the filmmaking process.


Before moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Cioni worked in the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan where he developed a strong understanding of corporate finance practices,

transaction execution, and quantitative analysis. Peter first worked in the firm’s Municipal Finance practice, where he advised state and local governments on bond and

derivative transactions. After that, Peter worked in JPMorgan’s Financial Institutions practice, where he advised specialty finance companies on a myriad of debt, equity, and

merger & acquisition projects.


Peter is a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Economics, a concentration in Finance, and a minor in Political Economics. He is an active member of the University’s Alumni Association and serves as an officer in class alumni affairs.

CEO of LIGHTIRON Digital, Michael has more than a decade of progressive post production filmmaking experience. He has spent the last 6 years at PlasterCITY Digital Post (“PCDP”), which he co-founded in 2003 and built into one of Hollywood’s preeminent desktop-based post production facilities. While at PCDP, Michael assembled what quickly became an industry-respected team of artists and technologists as well as led the organization’s business development efforts.

During his tenure at PCDP, Michael served as a Digital Intermediate Supervisor on over 100 feature films and provided post production advisory support for hundreds of producers, directors and production companies. Prior to his time in Hollywood, Michael worked in television with the PBS affiliate, WSIU, in Illinois. He became the youngest recipient of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences “Best Informational Program” when his syndicated program "alt.news 26:46" won a combined four Regional Emmys in 2001 and 2002.

Michael believes strongly in empowering clients through education. He is a founding member and instructor at REDucation, the official RED camera education and training program. In addition, he has instructed HDExpo/Createasphere’s Panasonic P2 Workshop and Color Camp 101 programs and is currently preparing to launch E-Tech, an online class for non-technical content creators. Mr. Cioni sits on the Board of Directors of both the Hollywood Post Alliance and Filmmakers Alliance and he served as an adjunct faculty member for USC's Annenberg School of Journalism.

Michael’s direction and dedication to pioneering creativity and technology have made him a rising post-production industry leader. Michael is a 2001 graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Media Arts.

Paul Geffre brings a unique perspective to post production by having nearly a decade of experience in multiple areas of the entertainment industry. Paul approaches post production from the point of view of the Producer--someone who must take the long view and determine the best course to complete a project.


Paul developed his post production skill set at PlasterCITY Digital Post. While there he was exposed to and mastered the transformative power of file-based acquisition and presentation formats, which enabled him to serve as DI Supervisor on several feature projects and dozens of short form productions. During his tenure at PlasterCITY, Mr. Geffre also co-created BlueCOW Creative, PlasterCITY’s production arm. BlueCow completed several commercial, new media, and industrial projects.


Independently, Paul has produced, written, and directed hours of new media content, has produced television shows and short films, and he is currently producing his first feature motion picture. Geffre is recognized as a 3-time Telly Award winner and a 2-time Cine Award winner.  


Paul is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Paul played an integral role on the PGA’s recent Camera Assessment Series, both by producing the on-set portion of the Assessment and by working with Nancy Schreiber, ASC to shoot the test footage for the RED camera. Separately, Paul has been a presenter for Columbia College and has been a panelist for HDExpo.


Paul holds a degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Katie Fellion has spent her entire professional career managing creative talent and furthering her knowledge base in the newest production and post production technologies across a variety of entertainment industry sectors.


As Post Producer and Digital Intermediate Supervisor at PlasterCITY Digital Post, Katie worked on dozens of projects, incorporating the latest in post production and digital intermediate technologies and workflows. In addition to consulting, advising, and supervising projects and people through all stages of the post process, she played an integral role in guiding PlasterCITY through their first Stereoscopic Digital Intermediate. 


Prior to her tenure with PlasterCITY, Katie served as New Media Assistant Director for CBS Radio’s 97.1 KLSX, leading the re-design of the company’s award-nominated website. In addition, she worked on the first HD production in the station’s history.  Before her work in post production and radio, Katie spent five years with the entertainment technology education organization HD Expo/Creatasphere.  As Production Manager, she acted as technical producer on numerous live shoots, panels and industry events as well as interfaced with clients from nearly every camera, lens and technology company in the content creation industry.


An active member of the post community, Katie has produced Festivals and Conferences around the world. Most recently, she was the Computer Animation Festival Presentation Chair and Technical Director for SIGGRAPH 2009, producing both the stereoscopic sessions and content as well as overseeing the post production for the festival’s week-long program.  In 2008 Katie was the Stereoscopic Session Producer for the SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival and was the Associate Producer & guest speaker for the 2008 AnimFX Conference in New Zealand. Katie is a graduate of Whittier College in Whittier, CA with a self-designed Bachelor’s degree in Aspects of Contemporary Popular Culture and a minor in Film Studies.
